TCF Bank Stadium brings Gopher Football back to Campus

TCF Bank Stadium is set to open in about one and a half years, and prospective University of Minnesota students couldn’t be more excited. Just as they are entering college, these students will get to experience Big Ten football as it was meant to be experienced – outside with 10,000 other crazy and screaming maroon and gold clad kids in the student section. Madison students have it and often gloat to me about how much more fun they have at their football games, but come 2009, TCF Bank Stadium will rival whatever Badger fans say they have that we don’t.

The Gophers will play one more season in the HHH Metrodome before moving into the new TCF Bank Stadium in 2009. Don’t wait to get Gopher football tickets in this exciting new stadium. The Gophers have nowhere to go but up, and tickets to Minnesota Golden Gophers football games in 2008 will hold sentimental value as they toast the Metrodome turf for one final season.

Today is the last gopher game played in the HHH. Sad to see it but I will absolutely love the new stadium. See you tonight at the game!
